The Rev. Dr. Spencer S. Homan Pastor Homan has been pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Grand Forks since 2016. Pastor Homan grew up in LaMoure, North Dakota and graduated from Jamestown College with a degree in Religion/Philosophy. He first felt the call to ministry as a high school student serving the homeless on a mission trip. He received his Master of Divinity degree from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in 2006 and his Doctorate from UDTS in 2023. He is ordained as a pastor in the PC(USA). He lives in Grand Forks, ND with his wife Alyssa and their three sons William, Eli, and Joseph. Pastor Homan has a passion for outreach and a heart for service in Grand Forks and the world. Mariah Smart Mariah Smart was born in Boise, Idaho and moved to Bowbells, North Dakota when she was fourteen. She moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota to pursue college at the University of North Dakota. She graduated in December of 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Rehabilitation and Human Services. After graduating, she decided to stay in Grand Forks.
